Source of Bloodbending Without a Full Moon (Theory):
So I did a major rewatch of all the episodes of Korra and I saw something that really struck me as odd/interesting.
Before Yakone does some major bloodbending on Aang, he touches the pendant on his neck. This is curious but quite obvious if you watch the scene.
I think the power of his bloodbending is on the reverse of this pendant. I think the pendant is a solid white and moon-like on the backside. You can see Yakone wearing a similar pendant when he moves to the watertribe where he finds his wife.
Now that no one knows who he is, he’s free to wear his moon pendant in its true form because no one knows what it is nor what it is capable of doing.
Now for Tarrlok and Noatok, we don’t see their pendants until after they learn bloodbending without a full moon. Even when they first start waterbending, they don’t haev the pendants.
But the second they start bloodbending, the pendants appear.
Tarrlok wears his around his belt.
Amon wears his around his neck like his father did. Now, let’s look at the future versions of Amon and Tarrlok. Where are they hiding their pendants?
Tarrlok still has his around his belt. It’s a slightly altered version but the resemblance is almost uncanny.
Now Amon doesn’t have his pendant visible at all, mostly because he disguised and concealed every part of his past. But I think we can speculate that Amon keeps his around his face or neck.
I personally think it’s on the underside of his mask, where the red sun is.
So, in conclusion I believe that this family of bloodbenders gets its abnormal ability from the pendants they carry. I believe that the pendants might be made from moon rock, spirit water from the Northern water temple, or maybe just a full moon visualization tool.
The Republican congressman, already under fire for his controversial comments regarding rape, told a reporter for Cape Giradeau’s KBSI 23 News that “female breastmilk - when fed directly to an adult homosexual male daily for at least four weeks - has a 94% chance of permanently curing homosexual perversions.”
“Lesbians can be cured by drinking something else.”
I just attended the best passion of the Christ play. As they were “nailing” Jesus to the cross the entire thing broke. No one knew what to do and it got quiet. Finally one of the guards on stage said “You get out of it this time Jesus”
