After thoroughly reading through the class syllabus and course notes, I was deeply disappointed that we will not be studying the magical sport entitled Quidditch. I believe it is a real injustice to our overall sport education to gloss over this exciting and enchanting sport. To the argument that there simply is not enough literature to teach off of, I would say NAY MR. TUNAM, NAY! Kenniworthy Whisp as well as J.K. Rowling (long live the queen) have both written fantastic literature to testify and exemplify the sport of Quidditch. I implore (NAY DEMAND) you to add Quidditch to our boring list of sports in which we will be reading apart. There is no Season On the Brink without Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. There shall not be a The Blind Side without Quidditch Through the Ages.

Sidenote: As you can tell, I don’t take college seriously enough. :D
I had a great evening. The whole family got together to eat boiled seafood and king cake. I feel so much better about my grandma knowing that we’re all going to be there for her together. I absolutely love my family, and I’m grateful for them all.
I’m also grateful for this wonderful little community called Tumblr.
The superbowl is actually going to be interesting this year. I remember being little and asking my parents, “Mom, how come the Saints never make it to the superbowl?” Well little Dalton, THEY ARE GOING NOW!
Does anyone else fantasize about the moment their going to meet their soulmate? Lately, I’ve been dreaming about it a lot. It’s always on a rainy day, and she’s always wearing a red jacket with a bright blue scarf. Her hair is brown, her eyes blue (sometimes green).
Then again, I also have nightmares about missing my opportunity. What if “the one” has already come and gone, and I’ve missed my opportunity for true love.
